History of Department

Department of Pharmaceutical Technology was established along with Faculty of Pharmacy Naresuan University in 1992. Started teaching in the curriculum that is responsible for the 5-year bachelor of Pharmaceutical science program from the academic year 1993 onwards. And to be suitable with the needs of the profession the Faculty has improved the curriculum in 1995 and 1996. Later, in the 1997 academic year, teaching and learning in the bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science Pharmaceutical care has begun. Which is a pharmaceutical service that considered patient as a center and it is the first course in Thailand and in Asia. In the initial phase, operations in the comparable transfer system Later, in the 1999 academic year, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical science started to provide teaching and learning. 6-year pharmaceutical care curriculum. In the 2000 academic year, the Faculty of Pharmacy opened 2 graduate programs, there are Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Master of Pharmacy Program Master of Pharmacy in Community Pharmacy. In the academic year 2001, opened the Doctor of Science Program. Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Science (International Program). In the academic year 2002 opened 2 additional graduate programs there are Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Master of Science in Cosmetic Sciences, which the department is responsible for the implementation of teaching and learning throughout.

  1. Produce graduates with knowledge in pharmaceutical technology and cosmetic science.
  2. Create and publish research about pharmaceutical technology and cosmetic science to community, domestic and international.
  3. Provide academic services in pharmaceutical technology and cosmetic science. That give beneficial to the community.
  4. Encourage and preserve arts and culture for maintain the quality of society and identity of being Thai.
